You might have seen my blog on the forum. I am going to marry my Russian girl friend and need some help as to how to find out what papers we need to allow her and her daughter to come and live with me here in the UK. Thanks.

Try contacting the Russian embassy in London. They should have the relevant information. When my brother married a Romanian (before they were part of the EU) she was able to apply for a fiancée visa which allowed her to live here for 6 months until they got married. I assume there is still something similar.
